The Coven of Crescent MoonGoddess is located on Long Island New York and is an Alexandrian Coven with an outer-court training group, which accepts suitable candidates for dedication and initiation into the Priest and Priestesshood of the Wicca.  The Coven of Crescent MoonGoddess is a chartered and supported daughter coven of the Coven of Akhelarre Salem MA in the Sally Taylor Mapley/David Mapley Line originating in Kent, England.

Bonnie Thompson Coven High Priestess: Merry Meet! I am Bonnie Thompson, the High Priestess of the Coven Of Crescent MoonGoddess. I am a third degree (BTW) British Traditional Alexandrian High Priestess, a Priestess of the Temple of Nine Wells and a third degree initiate in the Coven of Akhelarre, both located in Salem MA. I have been studying Paganism for the past 20 years. I have run many circles and groups over the years. After my second degree initiation I have fully dedicated my life to teaching & to serving the Gods and preserving the Craft of The Wise.   I own & run Crescent MoonGoddess a worldwide Wiccan supply store which has been in business for over 16 years in Hicksville Long Island New York. We set the standards in the Long Island Pagan community by hosting many ongoing Pagan events. Our events are for families, adults and children. Our ongoing events consist of excursions to Salem MA, concerts, outings, workshops, study groups, Sacred Circles, Sabbat and Esbat Circles, Family groups, Author CD/Book Signings with Witches of Status from around the world. At Samhain we sponsor the Official New York Witch festival which is a huge gathering for Witches with vendors, musicians, authors, workshops, an open Samhain ritual etc. We offer these events to the community with love in our hearts in honor of the Goddess. RICHARD RAVISH High Priest of the Coven of Crescent Moongoddess Magus of the Temple of Nine Wells High Priest of the Coven of Akhelarre Hierophant of Strength of Hadit Classes TBA Coven High Priest: Rev. Richard Ravish (Magister Azaradel) shares his personal experience of more than 40 years studying and practicing the arts of Witchcraft, Qabala, Hermetics, Angelics, Enochiana and Ceremonial Magick. First initiated into the Wiccan priesthood in 1970 e.v., Richard received personal instruction and training from GWQ Sally Taylor-Mapley and David Mapley, GM, becoming an Elder in the Alexandrian/Gardnerian Craft when he was welcomed into their hereditary lineaged family of Wicca in Kent, England in 1986 e.v. O. Alexander Sanders also was kind enough to contribute some guidance and training both in St. Leonards-on-Sea and in correspondence. Richard was also fortunate enough to enjoy a close working relationship, first as a student and then as a colleague, with Laurie Cabot, HPS, for many years.            Richard has long been an active Freemason and a Rosicrucian. He also attained the grade of Adeptus Major in the Thelemic Golden Dawn while it was still a temple-based initiatory order affiliated with the Israel Regardie Foundation. Since that time, he has moved on to become an active member of the Knights Templar Oasis of the O.T.O., after its relocation to Salem, Massachusetts, and a novitiate priest in the Ecclesia Gnostica Catholicae. He continues to operate as hierophant of Strength of Hadit, a privately operated Thelemic temple, currently in a period of silence.       As an ordained minister of the Aquarian Tabernacle Church, Richard presides as Magus of The Temple of Nine Wells-ATC, a public Wiccan congregation in Salem. He is also the High Priest of the Coven of Akhelarre, training, initiating and chartering suitable students and covens of the Wicca. As founder and co-owner of White Light Pentacles/Sacred Spirit Products Inc. and his store, Nu Aeon, Richard earns his livelihood providing the tools of magick to stores and individual practitioners alike.

Heidi Coven Member:           Merry Meet everyone! My name is Heidi and I have been interested in Wicca for 12 years. For about 9 of those years I studied solitarily, before the Lord and Lady blessed me with a teacher and family at Crescent MoonGoddess. I have since become a first degree initiate on February 17, 2007, and am currently continuing my studies and spiritual growth. As for a little more about me, I moved to Long Island from Massachusetts in March 2003 to continue my education in graduate school. I graduated from Adelphi University with a Masters in Social Work in May 2007 and hope to some day combine my spiritual life and my skills as a social worker into a unique private practice. However, in the meantime I enjoy spending time with my wonderful boyfriend, and our 3 cats, Maeve, Freya, and Mr. Tibbs. I also love to soak up as much of the summer as possible by spending time tending my vegetable, herb, and flower gardens and spending lots of time at the beach, and then spend the colder months of the Wheel reading, spending time with friends and family, and preparing for the next planting season! Carol Coven Member:           Merry Meet! I’m Carol. I have been studying Wicca for the past 11 years. I studied many traditions and I was initiated to the first degree in the Alexandrian tradition, Kentish line, on February 17, 2007. I have been with the outer court of Crescent Moon Goddess since it’s inception in 2006 and before that studied with Bonnie for 1 1/2 years. I am proud to be among the first members of the coven of Crescent Moon Goddess. I love reading tarot and astrology, though I am an amateur in both. I have a Leo sun with Leo rising and a Pisces moon. I live on Long Island in NY with my husband of 15 years and our 3 daughters. We share our home with our dog, Rainbow, 3 cats, Iris, Spell and Yorks and 2 guinea pigs, Osiris and Horus. I am active in my community through the PTA and in local politics. I am also a staunch defender of animal rights. I own Jewels of the Earth Baking, Inc., a wholesale vegan bakery that supplies restaurants and health food stores in the NYC and surrounding areas. Mimi Coven Member:           Merry meet! I'm Mimi. I have been studying Wicca for the past 10 years (on and off) In December of 2005, I was accepted into the Outer Court of the Crescent MoonGoddess, and then June of 2006 I was dedicated. This past Feb. I was initiated 1st Degree in Salem Mass. by my HPS Bonnie Thompson and HP Richard Ravish.           As for some personal info: I live in Massapequa Park LI with my husband Terry of 11 years and our 4 children. We have 3 daughters Olivia, Cassidy & Stevie and 1 son Dennis. My children love to be outdoors so we are always in the reserves or at the beach no matter what season. They also love to pick up anything that moves..therefore we share our home with 5 turtles, a hognose snake, a calico cat and a lil'white mouse. We also travel South often to visit familt in Virginia and North Carolina. Occasionally I vend at festivals ...I do beading - jewelry & beaded besoms, clay sculptures, painting, wood burning etc. .

Millie Coven Member:           Merry Meet! I'm Milly. I have been studying Wicca for 4 years. I was initiated to the first degree in the Alexandrian Tradition,Kentish line, on April 21,2007. I have been with the Outer Court of Crescent MoonGoddess since it's inception in 2006. I studied with Bonnie before that for 2 years. I am very honored to be a part of the Coven of Crescent MoonGoddess. The Coven members are just like family. I love reading books about Wicca and have a pretty extensive collection. I live in Queens with my husband John of 13 years and our two Persian cats White Cloud and Alexis Rose. We both love animals and strongly defend animal rights. I'm a hairdresser  for 25 years and have been free lance for the past 10 years with a small clientel.  I love to exercise and belong to LA Fitness We spend our Summers at our Country home in the mountains surrounded by Wild Life and Nature.

Tiffany Outer Court Dedicant:           Merry Meet! I’m Tiffany and I’ve been apart of Crescent Moon Goddess since February of 2007. I became a dedicant on Imbolc of the same year; I’m currently working towards becoming a first year initiate of British Traditional Wicca. I was born and raised a Roman Catholic, but it never felt right. However, I continued because the church I was attending was the only catholic church with a gospel choir and I loved to sing gospel music…well I loved to sing anything but classical – although I love to listen it. But the issues I had with the religion started to grow to the point where the singing just wasn’t holding me anymore and I began to look elsewhere. Plus I was getting tired of getting in trouble for asking the wrong questions (thought provoking questions). I first came across Wicca when I was in high school while doing a project on non-mainstream religions. I liked Wicca but being in a Catholic high school and living at home just wasn’t conducive for me to start studying. I left the Catholic religion a couple of years after graduating from high school. After leaving the Catholic religion behind, I started on my quest for a religion that I fit into comfortably and that fit me. My path brought me back to Wicca, I started as a solitary reading Scott Cunningham’s books. Soon I felt that it was time to find a teacher and found a few people of the Wiccan faith but didn’t make that connection you find in long term relationships. I joined an online witch school, but soon I realized that I just didn’t need any teacher I needed a tangible teacher. I met my teacher at the 2005 Long Island Witch Festival (although I didn’t realize it) which she was hosting. I purchased an altar table she was planning on using for a ritual to be done that day – which she gladly gave it up & I silently thank her every time I see it. The next year I joined her eclectic class and after a few months I mustered up enough courage to ask her if she would allow me to join her coven and to become my teacher– thank the Gods she said yes. The rest is history and the future. Crescent Moon Goddess has become a part of my family; they have supported me through some of the most trying times of my life thus far. Knowing that I’m going to see them lifts my spirits and plants a smile on my face. I’m looking forward to growing both intelligently and spiritually with my family. Besides being a mother and wife to a wonderful family, studying and working towards becoming a first year initiate, I try to squeeze in my other interest. On the rare occasions I find myself with some spare quiet time I like to read, draw (with charcoals) and hike. I usually draw landscapes or anything that comes to mind if I can’t get outdoors; I also hope to start photographing nature while out hiking. This path of balance is the one for me, it fulfills me and I will continue to serve the Goddess and the God in this life and hopefully in the next. I will assist Crescent Moon Goddess in broadening and strengthening the Wiccan community through community involvement and dispelling myths about Wicca and witches. Brightest Blessings, Tiffany

Tracey Outer Court Dedicant:           Merry Meet to all! I’m Tracey. I have been interested in Wicca for the last 3 years. I was solitary, until September 2006, when I started studying with Crescent Moon Goddess. On April, 17th, 2007, I was dedicated into the Outer Court of the Coven of Crescent Moon Goddess. Ever since I joined Crescent Moon Goddess in 2006, it has been most wonderful. I feel like I have a second family. I live with my husband of 19 years and my three great children. We love to go camping and to be outdoors. I love nature and animals, which I have an amazing affinity for. Animals and children are usually drawn to me. I have been working with pre-school children for the last 8 years. My other interests are Arts and Crafts, music and motorcycles. I enjoy making and doing things with my hands such as sewing, crochet, embroidery, painting, woodwork, and more. I love listening to Rock music and metal and I play the bass guitar. Sandy Outer Court Dedicant:           Merry Meet! My name is Sandra Fiore and I’ve been a sole practioner for over 12 years. Originally from Westchester, my connection to magick came from my grandfather. As a child, we’d walk in the woods for hours just listening to what the wind and trees, animals and streams, flowers and sky had to say. With years of moments like these, it was after his passing that I began my journey. Wonderfully, in February 2007, I came across Crescent Moon Goddess. With becoming a dedicant in July, I’m honored to be taught by Bonnie Thompson, HPs 3* and a member of the outer court. I have a loving boyfriend and the most magical friends and family anyone could ask for. The proud owner of Small Indulgences, a full service balloon decorating and favor company, I spend my off-time gardening, hanging out with my friends & family, with my cats Johnny, Annie & in spirit, my beloved Frankie. I also enjoy listening to music, shopping, traveling & being around nature.

Rosie Coven familiar : Merry Meet! I am Rosie! I am the coven familiar. I am a one year old Gemini! I am the newest addition to the family! I love all of my sisters and my brother! We are a tight knit spiritual family that works as one. I participate in all of the rituals at the covenstead. My favorite part of ritual is raising the cone of power. I run around in circles as fast as I can during the Witches Rune and the Mill of Magic chants. Grounding is so much fun too! When everyone drops to the floor I jump on them and give them kisses. When they feast I look for treats from everyone who drops something or offers me something to eat! I look forward to every meeting, event and gathering that takes place here!
