| In an effort to provide increased security to their card holders Visa has implemented a three-digit number on their cards that serves as identification code to verify the presence of the card during internet transactions. This number, known as a CVV2 number protects your card from unauthorized use. This three-digit CVV2 number is printed on the signature panel on the back of Visa cards immediatly following the Visa account number. (Please see picture below) |
