Magick in Mundania
with
Oberon Zell Ravenheart

The seeds of our culture are found in the stories we tell. These shape us as
much as we shape them. Archetypal Magick (along with Witches and Wizards)
permeate our rich heritage of myths, legends, fantasy, and science-fiction.
And in turn, they sometimes leak out into our waking "reality" through
popular culture to become manifest in the mundane "real world"--as in the
ways our modern technology has been shaped by "Star Trek." Oberon has made a
virtual career out of bringing visions, fantasies, and legends to life: the
Church of All Worlds (from a sci-fi novel); living Unicorns; and now the
Grey School of Wizardry. In this presentation he will share his adventures
in walking between the worlds, and reveal his visions for the future.

Author Bio :
Oberon Zell-Ravenheart (1942-) is a renowned Wizard and elder in the worldwide magickal community. In 1962, he co-founded the Church of All Worlds, a Pagan church with a futuristic vision, and he has been involved in the founding of several other major groups and alliances. First to apply the terms “Pagan” and “Neo-Pagan” to the newly emerging Nature Religions of the 1960s, and through his publication of Green Egg magazine (1968-), Oberon was instrumental in the coalescence of the modern Pagan movement. In 1970, he had a profound Vision of the Living Earth which he published as an early version of “The Gaia Thesis.” Oberon is the primary artist of The Mythic Images Collection, producing beautiful jewelry and altar figurines of Gods, Goddesses, and mythological creatures. He is the author of Grimoire for the Apprentice Wizard, Companion for the Apprentice Wizard, Creating Circles & Ceremonies, and A Wizard’s Bestiary. He is also the Founder and Headmaster of the online Grey School of Wizardry. He has been called “The real Albus Dumbledore.”

The Living" as he attempts to demystify the concept of spirit communication.

Opening Pandora's Box - The Book of Curses
There is perhaps a no more controversial subject in the world of witchcraft
than curses. The subject is taboo to many practitioners of the art
magical. Yet curses are as old as humankind. And pretending as if they
don't exist doesn't make them become less of a reality. In old world Europe
cursing is serious business - the ability is often passed from one
generation to another. Whether called the evil eye, a jinx, or a hex -
whether cast by the kindly old lady next door or the village "wise person"
no one is exempt from the power of a good curse. In this thrilling and
provocative workshop, you will learn what curses are, how they work, and by
understanding this dark art from the inside out be better prepared to defend
yourself.

Warding 501

With Edain McCoy
This is a workshop that deals with warding
the self, ones property and loved ones with advanced visualization and ritual techniques. Whether an enemy thought is coming at you with intent or merely through a negative person's overflow, you will be the Witch to thwart it.

Author Bio:
Author Edain McCoy became a self-initiated Witch in 1981 and has been an active part of the Pagan community since her formal initiation into a large San Antonio coven in 1983. Edain has researched alternative spiritualities since her teens, when she was first introduced to Kaballah, or Jewish mysticism. Since that time, she has studied a variety of magickal paths including Celtic, Appalachian folk magick, and Curanderismo, a Mexican-American folk tradition. In her "real life," Edain works as a licensed stockbroker.
